Spaulding Clinical responds to the need to add patients to early-phase research:
- Spaulding Clinical has in place a Master Agreement with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW)
- This partnership allows us to extend our network of specialty physicians and potentially gain access to the patients they support, including renal, hepatic, dermatology and many others
- Most collaborations will have Spaulding’s Investigators remain the assigned PI, with the specialty physician contracted as a Sub-I
- The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network operates eastern Wisconsin’s only academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center in Milwaukee
- The health network includes: 5 hospitals, more than 1,700 physicians and 40 health centers and clinics
- Outpatient visits exceeded 1.1 million; Patient visits to network physicians were 979,143
- Partnership also includes access to specialty testing and diagnostics for more complex procedures
